- 1 ½ pounds chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Blot the chicken dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the chicken to the skillet. Cook on each side for 3 to 4 minutes. Then reduce the heat, add the minced garlic, and cook just until the garlic becomes fragrant.
While the chicken is cooking, combine the Frank’s Red Hot Sauce and the melted butter in a small bowl and mix well.
Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
Make a cornstarch slurry by combining the cornstarch and water in a small dish. Mix well.
Pour the cornstarch slurry into the skillet to thicken the sauce. Stir until the chicken is coated. Remove from the heat and serve.
