Pulled Pork Sliders

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • ½ tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced dehydrated onion
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 4 to 5 pounds pork shoulder roast
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 ½ cups barbeque sauce optional
  • 1 cup dill pickle chips
  • 1 cup sliced white onions
  • 36 slider buns

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven 350°F.
  • Combine the brown sugar, salt, pepper, dehydrated onion, paprika, and chili powder in a small bowl. Stir well.
  • Place the pork shoulder in a Dutch oven. Cover the pork with the spice blend and pour the apple cider vinegar into the pot.
  • Cover the pot and bake for 3 to 4 hours or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. The pork should be fork tender.
  • Shred the pork and add BBQ sauce if desired.
  • To serve, add about ¼ cup of meat to each bun and top with sliced dill pickles and white onions of desired.
