Spicy Chex Mix

Homemade hot and spicy Chex mix is a tasty snack great for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Corn Chex
  • 3 cups Rice Chex
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex
  • 1 cup Takis Fuego Hot Chili Pepper & Lime Tortilla Chips
  • 1 cup mini pretzels
  • 1 cup cheese crackers (such as Cheez-Its)
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 3 teaspoons hot sauce (such as Cholula)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 250°F.
  • Mix the Chex cereals, Takis chips, pretzels, and cheese crackers in a large mixing bowl. Gently toss until well mixed.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter with the remaining ingredients. Whisk until the seasonings have dissolved. Pour over the Chex mix and gently toss to coat.
  • Spread the Chex mix evenly on an extra-large baking pan or 2 large baking pans. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • Spread the Chex mix on parchment paper to cool completely and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
